Lazzara Yacht University

Lazzara Yacht University is a three day course that is mandatory for each owner to attend before taking delivery of his or her new yacht. It is held on the campus at Lazzara Yacht’s headquarters in Tampa, Florida. Taught by Lazzara’s corporate professor, the curriculum thoroughly familiarizes owners and their hired captains with the yacht’s systems, equipment, operations and electronics. They meet and get to know the Customer Support Team, the people who will be their support system for as long as they own their Lazzara yacht. LYU graduates are granted a formal diploma signifying their status among the elite yacht owners of the world. But more important than the paper document is the knowledge and confidence that comes with having gone through the LYU experience. New Lazzara yacht owners know their yachts, how they operate, how to run them, how to work the various systems, and with this comes great pleasure and confidence in those first few weeks after taking delivery. LYU is an inclusive service we provide to make each Lazzara owner a more responsible yachtsman. LYU Lite is also available for a fee to any new owner of a pre-owed Lazzara. This one day indoctrination is conducted by a Lazzara representative, the captain and the owner at the location of boat. We are the only manufacturer to offer a service of this kind for pre owned Lazzara’s.
